  BEFORE LEAVING

Bring cash as there is no electronic payment terminal.
Take the following administrative documents with you:

  • waiver of appeal,
  • insurance form (even if not taken),
  • if under 18 years old, licence OR biparental authorisation + signatures of both parents legalised by the local authority.

Take accessories such as tape, quick-release collars, visor wipes, etc...

If travelling by motorbike

No valuables as there are no changing rooms or lockers.
Provide an alternative means of return in case of mechanical problems.

If travelling by 4-wheeler

DB killer if exhaust system not original. Gasoline.

  ON ARRIVAL

Enter the paddock by entering the barrier code [1] provided in the "useful information" email.
Paddock and Pitlane traffic at 5 km/h max.

If travelling by motorbike

Park in front of the tower or at the bottom of the ramp. Avoid leaving equipment and accessories unattended.

If travelling by 4-wheeler

Limit your parking space to 25m² (vehicle + arbour). Be aware of the wind direction. Only use a CE socket and leave a passage for others.

Pas d'affichage publicitaire sans autorisation.

  BEFORE RIDING

Welcome formalities:

The Welcome and the meeting point are located in BOX n°5 [2] , near the Mertens Riding School truck [4] .

Please report to the meeting point during the time slot of the group indicated in the "useful info" e-mail:

  • RED Group         07:00 - 07:30
  • BLUE Group       07:30 - 08:00
  • YELLOW Group  08:00 - 08:25
  • GREEN Group    08:25 - 08:55

with your registration documents: waiver of recourse, insurance form and identity card.

It is still possible to take out individual insurance for the day with an insurance company represented by the RUMESM club. The price of this cover is 17€.

If you are a minor, present a license (the one from a foreign country must be accompanied by an exit authorization issued by the pilot's federation) OR a biparental authorization + signatures of both parents legalized by the local administration.
And if you are not licensed and under 16 years of age, you must :

  • wear a fluorescent vest from the MRS school,
  • be accompanied - followed - by an adult pilot during the driving sessions (availability of an instructor upon request),
  • be registered in the "Beginner" group (Green) at the beginning of the day.

You will receive an envelope containing the number, grouping pad, gluing instructions and timing. And in exchange for your ID card, a transponder and its attachment.

Rentals:

Equipment reserved online will be waiting for you at the "Welcome" desk, if not, please contact the MRS truck. They will be given to you in exchange for an ID after you have completed a rental contract.

Concerning our Yamaha YZF, contact the person in charge in order to make a statement of condition and to fill in the rental contract.

For a box, ask Welcome to open the one you have been assigned.

Préparatifs:

The number is to be placed on the right side of the bubble or on the headlamp and the colored dot in the place provided under the number.

The transponder is attached to the right side towards the middle of the frame, away from the heat. Avoid the fork and the saddle too exposed in case of fall (450€ deposit in case of damage!)

Check tire pressures with our Dunlop tire service [7] and fuel.
A gas station is located 400 m from the circuit. You must wear a helmet when riding your motorcycle! No wheeling and respect for other road users. Thank you for contributing to the positive image of the motorcyclist.

If travelling by motorcycle

Masking of the mirrors and the headlight. Check license plate fixation.

Technical control at the runway entrance [6], 5 min. before your respective first session.

Sound control:

On weekends and public holidays, from 7:30 a.m. onwards, take your motorcycle to the static sound check organized on site.

Caution: the noise limit set in Mettet is 94 decibels in static and 101 in dynamic. See the possible modifications on the website of the circuit.
Any motorcycle that does not meet this standard may be refused access to the track.
The original or adaptable exhaust system with dB Killer is mandatory.
Sound checks are regularly carried out by the circuit of Mettet.

Briefing:

At the beginning of each day, the briefing is mandatory for ALL.

After the presentations, it allows to state the course of the day and especially to (re)discover the essential rules of safety for the driving on circuit.

  • 08:25 - RED - BLUE - YELLOW groups in the pitlane.
  • 08:55 - GREEN group in front of BOX n°4.

In order to respect the timing, it is strongly advised to attend the briefing in equipment.

  DURING THE RUNS

No one under 16 and no pets are allowed in the pitlane.

Timing allows us to control the homogeneity of the groups in order to optimize safety and pleasure for all.

You can follow the evolution of your best times from session to session.

In case of a fall:

The medical assistance is composed - at least - of a doctor, two nurses and an ambulance.

Go to the medical center on the first floor of the tower for the mandatory check-up!

Your bike will be picked up and brought back to the paddock by the marshals and, if necessary, our mechanic will be able to help you with the repair.

  AT BREAK

Snacks and drinks available at the circuit bar on the 2nd floor of the tower [5]. Please reserve before 10:00 am.

Gasoline supply.

At 1:30 pm we reorganize the groups according to the time.
Please see the new group table in BOX #5 [2].

If you need to change groups, you will receive a new colored sticker in exchange for the old one.
In this case, pay attention to the new afternoon session schedule!

If you have benefited from a "circuit initiation" training, you can leave the armband at the reception desk.

Take the opportunity to review your best actions with the MBO photo service.

  AFTERNOON

Once the break is over, drivers who have booked personalized coaching are invited to come to the MRS truck to receive the coaching program and initial instructions.

  LEAVING

Return the transponder to BOX #5 [2] and receive your ID card.

Please leave the paddock by 7pm.

If travelling by motorcycle

Checking tire pressures [7], adjusting mirrors and headlights.

If travelling by 4-wheeler
